yes, it pretty much eliminates the chance of spiking because of the black box high speed shim stack, They are ace forks.

to be honest i havn't noticed the difference between my teams and when they used to be races, they still feel really good!!! unless while racing, your that fast that the tiniest millisecond counts between winning an losing, and you can set them up perfectly i would say theres not much point in them Wink

EDIT: although that may be because mine are shagged, ie. the bushings are gone even after they went to tftuned, after a ride or two the bushings went again. so they are really supple forks

go for second hand teams, if the races are rebound adjust only then dont bother with them.

The BB7 is just a big, slack, steamroller. It's a DH bike and doesn't pretend to be anything else.

my races are sweet as, due a service but still sweet forks and tbh i never use the compression adjustment. id go for races purely cos you dont need more adjustments..they go up down lol

It's not the adjustment you need...it's the actual system.

Teams feel much much better than Races over the same track at speed...I owned both on my Radical, the Races went early doors and were replaced with Teams.

You don't necessarily need to be able to fiddle with all the settings, it's just being able to set them on the first few rides and leave them.  They are definately worth extra if you're buying new...even better if you look second hand as has already been suggested.

Oh, I came off Totems as well, which model are you using?
