This is going to make me unpopular... but could i make the suggestion that the chill zone be made for immortals only again as it just seems to fill up with s**t posts at the moment... not seen anything of decent substance in there for a while, it just seems to be shite like 'top 10 pet hates' or people bragging about how they fought of 90 ninjas with guns...

surely then you will get people who want to be allowed on to the board writing loads of posts on other boards just to make themselves immortal. Also some of the threads are quite interesting/hilarious.

If we removed such people from the Chill Zone, they'd post shite elsewhere... If a thread is dire, click the report to mod button, tell us why and we'll likely remove it.

i usually go to the chill zone if i want a laugh while i'm here reading about tech stuff and current affairs in mtb, it's just a bit of fun. if you want to read serious posts not on the topic of mountainbikes then there are plenty of other forums out there, try volconvo or b3ta depending on your fancy.

If what people post there annoys you so much, then why dont you just not use that part of the forum?

I suspect that you two who have complained didnt read the stuff in the chill zone when it was immortals only...I've come to this conclusion because neither of you are immortals...

Mr Ed's point is pretty true, there was still funny banter, along a similar vain as now, just fewer crap threads about random shite games, and other stuff that's been posted 10million times in the past.

It wasnt a case of it being all serious...just less crap to have to sift through before you found something that made you laugh so much you cried  Wink

I'd agree with Mr Ed, but I cant say it really bothers me.

Why don't you make a boeard called 'The Immortals' then rather than taking away the chill zone board from us mere mortals?

The chill board's not exactly fast moving, it doesn't take much effort to scroll through the junk posts.
