How about turning chill zone into a more specific thread and then making a thread literaly for what ever people have to say.

Or have a voting system, anyone who "posts crap" can get put up for vote to be permanently/short term banned from chill zone?

Just an idea.

That was what we were going to do with karma, but now can't because people have been misusing it. Though, we still might anyway.

Well Leo's never going to be on here anymore then Cheesy

I'd say that the Chill zone is good, it's a laugh to read when you are bored, and why ban Mikey and Devans over something so petty? Most of the stuff they post maybe sh*t but it's funny sh*t which entertains people and means they will come back to read more.

As Al has already stated Karma has got out of hand thankyou very much. Smiley

Anyway I post helpful posts, the reason i get my minus Karma is because I like to take the p!ss out of certain people on posts and have a laugh instead of being deadly serious, afterall isn't biking about having fun and a laugh?  Smiley

It's either in Chill zone, General banter or spangly new kit, the people are my friends i'm just having a laugh, not bothered if someone frowns upon that.

We could just leave the Chill Zone as it is,

the CHILL zone is supposed to be a place where you can just have a laugh, i use it all the time just to have a bit of a laugh.

If you don't like it don't go on it

Pfffft thats charming!

Devans and myself happen to think long and hard about the crap in which we post, its not all useless rubbish about how many slags we've had "action with" etc.

wasn't having a go mate, tbh, i find some of the stuff you post hilarious. its just people like pomaz, trying to boast about things such as (apparently) getting 'loads of action' that gets on my nerves.

karma seems not to have done much, more turned into a 'who can get the most - karma' competition, and people will give others negative karma just because they dont like them because of something they said 2 years ago when they disagreed with them, so not much help really.

buuuuut, at the end of the day, yes, it is just the internet, and if people post cr*p other people don't like, how hard could it be to, say, ignore it?

I'm not on this forum much anymore because it's full of tossers, people who think that there status on here means they're gods gift.

Karma is f**ked because no-one actually knows why they got it, it's abit like you telling your baby off without pointing at the mess it just made. how can he ever learn?Huh

Systems on other forums like bikechatforums.com is a much better way of stop people posting s**t, as every member can vote on each post made by every individual.

People like Fingerbike abused karma over the fact i had a crisis at home a couldn't buy is frame. he then gave me negative karma on every occaision, but it got corrected by the mods.

This used to be a wicked forum but now it just gets ruled by a few people an it's w*nk.

Even admins rarely post nowadays, grqanted you get pomaz saying he's shagged some girl but he's probably lieing but no-one actually cares.

f**k it, if your interested in mtb, then read what you like, an if your bored an want a laugh type some random s**t in chill zone.

To be honest though, it is only the internet.

Honest to god, that's the best thing someone has said in years.
