Peat wasn't at Ae either, so I presume he's focussing on World Cups only this year and just riding/training inbetween. Beaumont is out with an arm/shoulder injury that he got at Maribor. Was surprised Dan & Gee chose the Qashqai thing, but I suppose it's good coverage for their sponsors.
Rachel put in another stunning performance, 30th overall again (same as at Ae) and 11 seconds quicker than Moseley.
Gutted that I didn't see Cathro's jump at the end, he went silly on the drop at Ae so I can imagine it was worth watching!

I was stood in the wrong place for the final elites to get the full extent of Cathro's huck, just got him landing, however I know one of the mtbcut.tv filmers was stood next to the jump so look out for it on there!
Really good atmosphere at the end, was excellent to film!

Lol amazing vid on mtbcut even shows cambu been there 3 times this week, the gap ain't big enough for the jump meaning you flat bottom think that might had an effect . The plans for that drop and jump are nuts, gonna be awesome, drops getting made bigger and brung back and that landings getting took away and a landing put on the right of the path gonna be an absolute massive jump, biggist in Scotland if it goes ahead but we will see.
Sorry got a tad carryied away hehe

3 of the top 10s were all Juniors
6 403 Danny HART La Pierre/Saab Solomon 3:01.036 5.036 7 409 Ben INESON Solid 3:01.939 5.939 8 405 Emyr DAVIES Santa Cruz/Reverse 3:02.192 6.192
all racing Elite because of the trade team thing.
and BC told me in November that Ben and Emyr, weren't good enough to race world cups as they weren't elite. nice to see they've got their finger on the pulse of the sport.
will be interesting to see who and how many BC choose to take to this years worlds.

Emyr had a small stop near the top of the track too, so fair play to him, he was quite surprised with a 3.02 when he got to the finish, good result for the dirty young farmer!!!!
