Cheers guys for all the comments i will pass them on when i next see him. I'm sure he will appreciate your kind words.
Of late we have seen a few riders coming up the track who do not where any kind of helmet. Learn from other peoples mistakes. Where a helmet
P.S. - what about all the other hard workers who help supply materials, build & maintain wild park. Don't give Rich all the glory!!!!! (Sandy, Ian etc
In Richards case his pot probably didnt do anything, he landed in such a way that the helmet was un affected. Because we had his helmet afterwards, i thought id do him the favour of seeing if it was cracked, and it was fine, i flexed it and nothing came up it just had a bit of mud on it. And i do need a Helmet i know, Dale is the worst culprit! he doesnt even have a helmet! let alone wear one!

went to see him on wed. he seems to think he will be fine once the bones nitted togther. he clarified that all the impostant bits work. he`s now just waiting for an op. he`s trying to keep where he hurt himself quiet as he doesnt was all the courses ripped down so dont talk too much about it. cheers for you guys for helping him. rich, and all his mates, appreciates it. apparently it was a bit wet when he was riding which wont have helped. muddy wood goes like ice when damp, especially if you brake. your supertacky wont help you - trust me! i`ve got the scars to prove it. i know its boring but please be careful when you are up there and dont ride on the off camber stuff if its wet. we dont need any more big accidents. rich is lucky that his injuries are not worse. it really worries me the amount of people that ride there without even a lid. We all put alot of effort into the trails and those people are putting all our hard work at risk for the price of a piss pot. i`ve had some BIG offs up there (not just on the shore) and my lid has saved me more than once. be sensible guys n gals mark

Hi just want to give a big thanks to Jeron and Ellliot sorry forgot other lad with the norcos name, but you were stars and saved my life.keeping me in the same position and not allowing me to move means i will make a good recovery, and before the end of the summer will be out shreding the trail again.it just goes to show how easy for this kind of thing is to hapen and now i hope all of you will wear protection and look out for each other.im still a bit dazed had the op yesterday, took 4 and a half hours, broke my t4 t6 vertibre in 3 pieces fractured my t2.theses have been bolted and boxed, lost all my teath in the left hand side of my face, which chiped the ones left on the right.and i wasnt even hacking it.just goes to show how easy something like this can happen.cant thank all you lads enough.and realy cant wait to get back on it, Look after the trails and they will bring all of us a lot of fun and sense of community for many years to come . Big thanks to you all for your support. plus big shout out to the paramedics. RESPECT. Richard.[the dog who is sometimes a lttle mad] Now wheres my medication, oh yeah and no slacking while im away. i was there aswell ! haha i arrived about 10 minutes after you were air lifted off, im friends with Jeron and Elliot (and sonny). and i looked after your bike for most of the day along with jeron. But yeah credit where credits due, from speaking to Jeron and hearing from you he did a quality job, and from what ive heard about the crash it was disturbing to see, and props to them for dealing with the situation so maturely and well. Hope for a quick recovery richard! i keep seeing your bike in Freedoms. It didnt have a scratch on it when i saw it just after the crash! bomb proof bike!
