not entirley sure on what caused my crash cos i landed...then found myself on the floor with a hurting knee! so yh went to a-n-e and they xrayed it and saw quite a big fracture in my patella! (or not), prety bummed cos i was soo lookin forward to uk bike park this weekend Sad oh well at least i didnt pay in advance!
anyone have any idea how long before ill be rippin it up again? nursey didnt say (wasnt concentrating on what she was saying tbh!  Grin)

i AM going to les gets!!

maybe its not a fracture! dum doctors

My friend did this falling down some stairs  Roll Eyes

He should be able to do sports properly again in about 2-3 months the hospital said

I'm a physio and i would have thought at least 3 months. It would be about 2 for the fracture to heel and then another 4 to 6 weeks to regain full range of movement because the bone is so awkward. its all dependant on if the fracture needed to be wired, and if its a chip off it, or split straight down the middle.

4-5 months. Smiley I did the same thing glen, though i damaged my tendons and ligaments which really didnt help. No way are you gona be able to ride france ! Ill send you a postcard though Tongue

im getting really anxioius about this weekend racing now because a lot of people i know are getting serious injuries...why glen why!!!!
and yeh i dont think france is going to help your recovery dude, your body takes a beating because you ridee everyday not once a week!
sell your place to the highests bidder or come anyways and be photographer/filmer Cheesy

I shattered my knee cap a few years back - f*cking painful I tell you bro, was out for 18 months after that (and in a wheelchair for 7 months - I also shattered 3 vertebrae in my neck in the same crash).

Take some arnica, it heals bruises and helped my when i broke my collarbone
