I would support our LBS if we had one that actually stocked decent quality products and not budget rubbish

You could always ask them to order bits in for you...

I know where you are coming from but usually when I want a part the I need it now, not in a weeks time and that is where CRC come in handy as 90% of the time it arrives next day.
I know you should support your local businesses but when they don't even keep pads in for a Mono M4 or 6ti for example then it becomes a bit difficult.

i have very mixed feelings about CRC, unfortunately i have had a good number of problems with the wrong stuff being sent. I cannot complain about the service and the delivery however as that is amazing. Beats LBS hands down, our local one takes a good number of weeks to order goods in. ridiculous!

Just the fact that they send out the wrong stuff quite often.

Not a rant... so dont moan.... doesnt sway me from buying from them as its always resolved.

I just have to mention this, I ordered a wheel a few weeks ago but CRC sent the wrong one. No biggy, sent it back and sent them a few emails. I didn't get a reply so I contacted the owner of CRC who I just happened to know had an account on a local forum. I get a reply on monday apologising for not being contacted, they were having computer problems or something. Today I get an email saying that they have dispatched the wheel, and they have included a £15 voucher "goodwill" voucher. You can't ask for much better customer service than that! Every online shop is bound to make a few mistakes now and  then, But CRC blows the rest of them out of the water when it comes to customer service.

Ive had a couple of problems with them....

I ordered a frame...asked if they could supply the correct size FSA bb....it was miles wrong. Bearing in mind I spent nearly £900 and it was my 1st time there you'd have thought they would have made sure they got it right....
Couldnt get hold of them to see about returning it. Luckily it fitted on my other bike.

Secondly, they are advetising a DMR chainring that fits on the MKIII cranks. So nearly £40 later I find it doesnt. And guess what....phones been engaged for 2 days solid.

CRC are bollocks, as much as people love them, they just piss all over local bike shops with their prices, most shops can't compete with them simply because they dont have room to buy in bulk to the same extent as CRC. Where were we before the internet eh?! LBS all the way. I swear they're trying to take out all the bike shops! Pisses me off a bit this does.
