Maybe a general 'show us' board so it could house all the usual 'show us your desktop background' and 'show us your desk' and 'show us your messy apartment' topics that a lot of forums have, but then also be a place to show off new stuff you've got that you're proud of or chuffed with.
There would be the risk of people boasting I guess, but that's just life.

if you get something you want to show off why not just start a new topic in the Chill Zone?

Sounds like a plan, but there needs to be a limit to what you put in it, i mean who cares about someones new pair of trainers, unless they're limited edition etc.

It would be cool to see other peoples stuff for other hobbies and things.

i agree with limitations, and i agree with mcmuffin about people posting something like an ipod, that would be pointless

but a "spangly new...." for abnormal, or rediculous or just amusing/worth reading about items i think would work
