I have the same problem, I seem to have a super fast metobilsm.  I have to have 8 weetabix on college mornings just to last me till break, which is at 11, where I go get a huge baguette!

A big pan of porridge would probably do the trick, Avoid sugary stuff though, as they'll make you burn of the energy quicker.

Porridge, muesli or oats. I sometimes eat rice for breakfast, a little odd but I love rice.

OK I know the theory on this, although don't necessarily practice it Wink

What you're eating there equates to about 5-600 calories. Given that you are 'breaking your fast' in the morning there is an argument that this should be the biggest meal of the day. ie maybe in the 800 - 1000 calorie range.

Also, that's not a bad breakfast as such, especially if it's brown bread, but it's nothing but carbohydrates - with quite a few simple sugars from the cereal & banana etc. So although there's complex carbohydrates there which take a bit longer to break down, the sugar spke will raise insulin levels, increase your metabolism of said sugar and leave you feeling hungry.

So try 1) eating a bigger breakfast and 2) eating more unrefined wholemeal carbs (porridge/wholemeal bread etc and 3) get some protein in there to leave you feeling fuller for longer. e.g. bacon & eggs on wholemeal bread etc

Bung them in some milk and add that to your breakfast, it will keep you felling full much longer than carbs alone  Wink

My filling breakfast of choice is 2 slices of toast, a crumpet small bowl of frosties and a cornetto.

This can keep me going all day!

I'd be eating at 11 again on that...

I'm on 6 or 8 weetabix, 4 pieces of toast (with marmalade), a couple of bananas, a couple of pints of water to wash down (or a milkshake). Then a mars bar in the car on the way to the woods...

not really, youre just lazy haha  Tongue

I only really have time to eat a bowl of shredded wheat before I leave for work. The I'll eat an apple whilst I walk and then snack on another apple and grapes before lunch, I still get hungry though. I need to get back on the massive bowls of porridge, they really hit the spot and stay there too.
