Dakine uplift day
« on: June 13, 2008, 13:55:21 PM »

Dont forget its the Dakine uplift day on the 22nd  June
Theres loads of new stuff planned for the weekend with new trails being added and some big new features planned its going to be a great event.

We have plans to have some Djs playing an eclectic mix of old school hip hop, breaks, jungle D&B and anything else that suits the mood of the jam. the speakers will be set up in the  dakine Ladder alley as well as Dakine selling kit with 10% off and Torico keeping you riding with all the normal spare parts that you need at an uplift day.

We are also going to be providing plenty of mums cake with apparently some new recipes currently in development. There will be plenty of other hot food and drinks available and possibly a BBQ if the weather is good enough

its going to be a great event and if you can all cooperate by taking your litter home with you and driving sensibly through the village we would very much appreciate it

Yes you must book a place, we've just made a few more spaces availiable so do it now!

Note to anybody thinking of turning up  YOU NEED TO BOOK IN ONLINE! Else we can't control numbers.. Grin

Here's a new Ladder....to be finished...

It's our smallest at about 4m gap, should tie in with the last ladder well (to help people to progress), it's just off the original trail line...

Looks awesome, can't wait.

On the uplift side of things i noticed the other 'monster truck' is running again. How many runs do you reckon we might get in? - Dont want to be anoying and go on about it, its just for bike choice.

If it's only around 2 runs i'll probs bring the 4X bike and sesh the 4X most of the time, but if we might get more runs in i'll probs bring the DH bike. Any advice?

Cheers guys.

hard to say how many runs you will get -we have made a push up route so you can session the dakine ladder alley. as for bike choice, bring both! if you have to bring one, i reckon I would bring the jump bike as its ideal for the 4x and also sessioning ladder alley

The Dakine Ladder Ally now has a complete new line, built for the event, looks like it'll suit the smaller bikes (my Foes mono felt a little cumbersome down it....but still totally ridable). Not going to tell all, but it was a bit tricky fitting in the new line with existing trail........... we had to build a bridge!
