from DW

Guys,

To ensure we can go bigger and better on the tracks you ride, we are again lifting the bar.
Therefore please tart collecting your points.  You will need ten BC ranking points to race the NPS in 2009.

That applies to all categories.

Best Regards.

NPS race at Aston Hill?

Are they building a new track?  Creating an uplift?  Or would that just be a quarter of the price of the other rounds?

what happens with points from the previous year, i.e. I have 16 points from 07 so i have qualified for this years, but do i need another 10 from this year for next year ( if it is 10) or can i carry the 6 i haven't used forward to qualify for 2009. If you get my drift.

Youll probably need the points from this year. But you got 16 with one race last year so after fort bill you should have enough.

You will need 10 points from the year before, 2008, or 10 from 2009, if you did'nt race in 2008.
Having points from 2007 is'nt going to get you in, unless you are Elite or Expert.

The list is of venues is NOT legit Wink

Why only elites and experts? Would it be not fairer to have it run for two years. I have been injured this season and am not going to buy a license to do one race towards end of season when I finally get back on bike.

How does this enable them to go bigger and better?  Are they also eliminating the juvenille, veterans and womens categories?  No offence to riders in those cats, but you can hardly start putting in compulsary 12ft drops just because everyone has some BC points, etc.

there not saying that, but they want a better standard of riders there. its so annoying when your on a good practice run then some monkey who cant ride a bike gets in your way. there just trying to stop that and make it safer. i think?
