First Video with my New Hd cam.

Might make a longer movie out of it eventually. All the footage was from one day in the same place..

nice chris

nice use of focus in some areas, but in others not so,

For example one of the last shots,
and another where the foreground is in focus, but there isnt much foreground.

But overall really nice.
+ plus im in it!
well..sorta

It's OK.

Couple of points to think about in my opinion:

1. The shots where you have used manual focus need to be thought out better (eg without things sticking out over the action) and used less frequently.
2. Your cuts need to be a lot tighter.
3. The slow shutter speed shots look w*nk!

Also, I didn't see a drift in any clips in the whole movie haha!

Other than that, yea it's not bad, some good riding and well thought out angles, keep at it!

Cheers for the Comments.
Yer i did a edit at 1 in the morning so only took about 30 minutes to do it Cheesy
And the manual focus really does look w*nk on the dirt jump's though today it  looked quite good on the downhill.

Drift is just a temporary name Wink. And their was plenty of drifting from the downhill today Cheesy

It was my first go with the camera, so ive got plenty to learn, but ill improve eventually. (Well hopefully Wink

Yer i take it all onboard Cheesy

But it should have alot more Downhill as i might be filming at some nationals and may ask some very good riders i know to have a little segment for the vid.

And names for the moving are becoming tricky, they all sound the cheesy or boring.

Well that not actually mine Tongue
Drift was just a temporary name untill i invented something better ha Cheesy
But i believe head on cams are done with pieces of wood sticking out of your helmet. The cables are run along the wood, then the helmet cam points and faces you.

Sam hill did one ill dig out the piccy for you.
