dude unlucky but mine wasnt plain sailing, due to my spanner monkeyness i have over tightened my headset and its soooo stiff, i cant even turn the bars properly, i had to re tension the rear wheel every 5 minutes and had drag... but im sure you will have a much bigger excuse

The guy who won youth wasn't even on his own bike, he bent the crank arm on his sunday when he hit a tree in practise so for the race run used a friends specialised bighit, with single crowns instead of triple and the headset was loose as well! You don't need all the gear to be fast just the rider and the time they have to practice the course!

as jamis said.... i gave will hewitt (youth winner) the lift down there and he just trashed his sunday, i was training him down and saw the worst crash i have this year and he just got back up and we tryed to make it rideable. But thanks to the guy who let him borrow the big hit, made wills weekend as he was having a s**t one up until his name was called out which may i add was a total surprise.
