I rather think Mirra back flipped into the quarter not front flipped. I've certainly seen the former but never the latter.

these bmxers are throwing down some crazy s**t!!

but it is starting to look less stylish as the tricks get more complex. a double or tripple tailwhip looks like a blur.

a good old 360 or backflip looks the best! nice and slooow.

none of this flipy spinny noncence.

but you might dissagree?

anyone seen the latest RIDE (bmx) UK mag...with Mirra doing his new rotation trick "the landmine" at the FISE 2000 comp?

can't even describe what it is...its getting silly, in a good way

the bmx helmet thing is weird Roll Eyes

hardly anyone wears them in a non-competitive or compulsory skatepark situation

a couple of years ago i rode a concrete skatepark in west london on a winter morning, and did not realise there was condensation on the graffiti in the big bowl

the bike slid, i fell, the bike went up out of the bowl, and came back down chaindisc first into my helmet

very bad headache and neckache for a week, and a new helmet...but saved me for sure

there are a couple of guys in the "scene"...pro riders who now wear helmets after serious head injuries

in MTB we all seem to wear them, but in BMX its not the norm??

hes being doing it for a while...its no handed 360 flip...it just looks weird(er) in ride because its taken in a fisheye lens.

im not a big fan of hucking a 540 whip to flat landing to bitch crank for the next ramp, though some tricks are so nuts that you can forgive a slight lack of style the first time they are pulled. james fosters 360 tailwhip to tailwhip back (windshield wiper) is nuts. kelly bolton attempting front flip flairs is insane too.

some tricks can be mad but stylish- watch ryan guettler doing no foot flairs...mad but looks amazing. dew tour last year mirra did the slowest 720 ive ever seen, looks so good.
