Could somebody who has raced at wentwood let me know what route was used for the uplift and what area was used for car parking. Thanks. Si.

You park along the access road at the top (turn in, left, off the road as you come from the bottom). The uplift was from the bottom, literally, up around and back in on the access road, but from the other end. The course crosses the uplift road at one point.

Cheers AL. So everything was within the forest then, no fields used or anything? Im guessing there must have been a little bit of a push at the top from the fire road then?

Yeah, you pushed up a muddy doubletrack (not steep at all) and along a bit. 3 or 4 mins I'd have said. The trouble is the uplift road at the bottom is steep and slippery. The horse boxes (which is what was used) were just wheel spinning.

Right. The damaged bit of fire road at the bottom will result in a shorter push than the push at the top if that makes sense. Still less pushing than at a lot of the other tracks. As for land owners, they are FCW and the woodland trust. And the track is riding great.

If you only had to push to the next corner, true, but you have to push further than that to get to where anything can turn around safely and still avoid the bit that the vehicles slip on.

Drop Jason an email if you have ways to solve that.

I very much doubt the gradient of the hill has changed since the last Dragon. As I understand it the uplift is OK in the dry, but if its wet the wagons can't get up the slippery/muddy bottom part of the uplift. If its been resurfaced and is now grippy when wet, I'm sure Jason would love to know about it.

the fire roads up kilvey are wide enough and do go to the top sam but i dont think the track is long enough , would be awsum if there was a race there its a brilliant track

A street race for round 5... that'd be interesting!
