bear in mind your unlikely to notice what the blue does as its platform sensitivity. I think it was hotlines that service them now, or something like that, do a search for the last thread on romics

I to have just got a Romic Shock on my bike and setting the compression is fine with the spring ramped up way past where it should be but rebound is just very fast and nothing seems to slow it down.

Atleast I know where to send it now but an air shock is in order fof me.

They do have an old school fast rebound feel me

(not sure why I associate shocks with fast rebound as being old school!)

hmmm all being usefull information. but it has not helped.

i think i will just phone hotlines... previous owner had it tuned by his local motorobike shop. is this going to effect the service?

Just noticed your picture and seems I'm confussed now.

I put my Romic back in my Turner that way round, thinking it was logical to have the writing the correct way up and the shock just wouldn't adjust.  I thouhgt it must be th design and it had to be the other way round, so flipped it over nad what do you know the adjustments had a difference, got a very stiff compression.

Is this my imagination or does it vary from frame to frame.

I have tried my shock both ways up in my howler and by god I don't understand it.

Theory states that the shock will feel better upside down as there is less unsprung mass, making it more sensitive. However it felt crap, and took a much heavier spring to get the preload right.

Now I assumed this was because of the internals of the shok not liking being upside down, but now you've said the opposite I am lead to believe its down to frame design. but I have no idea why, or how!
