recomend me a back wheel and cranks
« on: July 05, 2008, 08:11:14 AM »

hey

buying a glory and they come with 83mm b and 150mm x 12mm rear wheel spacing.

so i was wondering what would be a good wheel build and crank choice, what aer owners of glorys curently running and what do people similar frames run?

only condition is id want to get a matching front wheel.

price wise id like it to be low obviously but i havnt got a set limit as much, basicaly the mor expensive the longer it takes and i want it running by august latest.

I supose for what your looking for, The well known saint cranks along with pro II on 721 will do the job perfect.
Unless your looking for something different to the "Norm" ?

Yeah the generic saint/721+pro 2 would do fine, maybe run 729s if youre a beast.

well with these sizes you limited so i would say stick with the norm, pro 2 on something (deemax if your a pimp  Tongue) and also saints although i have hussefelts and they seem to be holding up perfectly.

Definitely 721s on Pro2s, and if you don't want Saints maybe go for XTs?

nuke proof hubs are well worth a look too. only had a pair in for a customer but he says they are riding really well super smooth and at a great price too (£69.99 for the rear hub)

i like 729 better, bigger profile.

Think you have just found your crank decision then  Smiley

also ran 729 on pro2 on old bike

i like 729 better, bigger profile.

And i think that thats your rim/hub decision then also  Smiley

But as for nuke proof hubs, Im sure my friend has one on his V10 and they havnt been a bother.
Though i dont know much about them but they cant be that diferent to pro II's Apart from the price,
But i honestly cant coment on them with not having first hand experience.
