The freehub is on it's way out and after a quick disection it would appear that the pawls are worn. I've been told you can replace the pawls seperately to the freehub so this might be a cheaper option, but I'm struggling to find replacement parts. I guess because this is mainly OEM kit it's hard to get spares. I also got told that the pawls are dt swiss ones but I'm not sure exactly which ones or where to order them from.

I thought a new freehub would come with the pawls and so perhaps if it's cheap enough I could just replace the whole thing. However, I'm finding it very difficult to source a freehub!!! Apparently not all big earl hubs are the same so how am I supposed to order the right part and from whom?

I'd really appreciate some advice and perhaps a point in the right direction as to where I can get the spare parts. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: pps. It's now sorted as the guy who sold me the bike has solved all my woes by sending me a new freehub! Sorry I can't offer any advice for the next poor soul that encounters this issue!
