Back to the old-school!

Read my post! MTBR is all well and good but surely it would be better to have reveiws from people who use it on the same stuff / trails as we are going to... Also on forums you get a general idea of peoples attitudes and whether or not to bother respecting their opinions and amount of common sense which is more useful than scanning a load or random internet reviews. most people know peoples attitudes on here anyway so would work, maybe if only full members + could post on it and newbies e.t.c can read it as then people know people as they will have posted before, also stopping newbies ruining the thread (not against newbies just an idea) Say you can't post a review, til 100+ posts? I still reckon submitting a review to the Mods, and they post it in the main section of SDH is the better plan.....

Hello, I'm (formerly) Mr Ed
|
my personal feeling on this is that most people having ridden enough to compare said item too
an exampleto this using my own knowledge s dh forks
i have ridden breifly all manner of 40's boxxers, 888's and travis', but i have only ridden 40rc2's, mainly older boxxers and 05 888's for any long period of time, therefore i feel my knowledge isnt good enough to give a balanced review in comparison to the competition.
I would rather have no information than info that wrong when it comes to buying things, as if i dont have enough info i wont buy. if i have bad info and buy, then discover its wrong im up s**t creek without a paddle...
