At Moelfre I could see the reason for guys not running a visor.. as bad as it looks with that kind of wind at the top it wouldve made a difference. The main trouble is the fact that the rearmost part of the visor goes straight onto the helmet, why not pop a few vents in there? Air could be directed straight into the venting system, or just to stop the inevitable wind catcher. I, like Aaron (pslide) would be interested to see a model of a TLD D2 (for example) in a wind tunnel..
Then again, had Stanny & Cathro got the gimp suits out they wouldve been quicker over the top field without doubt. I also noticed a lot of riders either wearing regular tops a bit smaller than usual or a few wearing lycra tops. Times are changing.
sorry for nit-picking but surely some pretty colours of a CFD'd model of a D2 would suffice?!

any post/ undergrads fancy a bit of time in the computer labs modelling/meshing/ analysing this??
