purchasing footage
« on: July 09, 2008, 16:30:03 PM »

Might anyone be able to point me in the right direction for buying a 10 second (roughly) clip of cable cam footage. It has to of a highly professional quality so I'm guessing it'll be from from a stock library such as getty or istock. I know some of their footage isn't great either mind.

I've done the usual google search method but figured someone on here might be able to point me in the right direction or even might have some footage of their own of a suitable standard they'd like to sell.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Cheers

If you don't mind me asking, how much would you be willing to pay for a 10-second clip of high quality footage?

well I guess a nice 15 second clip of HD footage that was perfect would be worth around £350 if bought from iStock. I don't really want to spend that kind of money to be honest but if the quality was perfect for my use then yeah why not.

I think you will struggle to get a cablecam shot that long, we shoot cables week in week out and a 15 second clip would be epic!

We could possibly sell you a shot though, send me a PM with more info and I will get back to you.
