2WO FO4R ZER0 - The Movie

2WO FO4R ZER0
2 Riders, 4 Places, Zero Gravity

A friend of mine and I are planning to make a mountain biking movie this summer / year, mainly based on DH and FR. We are leaving soon for Verbier, Switzerland, which will be our first location we film at for this movie. Here's the resumé from the website:

"2WO FO4R ZER0 is a new mountain biking movie that follows two young riders as they tour Germany, Switzerland, and France in their search for the best riding spots in Europe. It will be filmed entirely in High Definition, and is scheduled for release in Early 2009.

2WO FO4R ZER0 is OverDrive Racing's first movie, and is entirely filmed and ridden by Felix van Oost and Vivian Viljoen, two young riders from the PXP Downhill team in search of the best riding spots in Europe. 2WO FO4R ZER0 is filmed in full 1080i High Definition, and we hope to make it available on Blu-Ray Disc, as well as a standard definition version of the movie onto DVD. The film is scheduled for release in Early 2009."

We have a website, which can be found at www.freewebs.com/240movie. We will be providing you guys with a few teaser clips from our filming in Verbier once we get there, and hope to have a full trailer ready around autumn (we have other locations to film at too). Thanks for the help and support,

SpikeX.

Just a little update.

I'm currently here in Verbier, Switerland and I have completed most of the scenic shots for the Verbier part of the movie. I've taken some nice pics too for a slide show that will be part of the Bonus Features on the DVD / Blu-Ray Disc. Vivian (the rider / cameraman for this movie) is arriving on Sunday, and we can then begin the rear riding shots.

Sounds good lads.

I don't mean to be funny, but after browsing through the website for it, I saw you were both 14...
Now, i'm not ageist or anything, but at 14, can people really expect to see riding worth paying for to watch- and a genuine roadtrip around europe? I'm sure a selling point of a roadtrip dvd, is about life 'on the road'. Now, at 14, you can neither drink nor drive legally, so that immediately puts a dampner on things (now I'm also not saying you need drink to have fun etc, but you know what i mean).

But, i suppose without any knowledge of who you are, or seen on footage of either of you riding it's a pretty hollow assumption- so, good luck with the film lads!

I'm abit confused on the name, Surely Zero gravity would mean your either XC or DJ enthusiasts, because gravity it a good thing! It gives us speed on the downhills!

Just re-read it, Are you actually going to try and sell it? Good luck!

Haven't posted in a while...

We might change the name of the movie, and we should have a poll up on the site over the next weeks or so to help us decide on a new name.

We're also not sure about selling the DVDs and Blu-Ray discs as the film won't be as good as Seasons and ROAM (obviously), so what we might do is have the whole thing in HD on the internet, and a DVD or Blu-Ray disc could be ordered for those who want it for as little as the disc itself costs (no profit).

We haven't done much more filming since Verbier, but we did race there in September and we might do a winter filming segment in our hometown of Hamburg, Germany. More news soon!

We've also posted 5 still shots taken directly from the footage we shot in Verbier. Check them out on the Media page on www.freewebs.com/240movie
