A southern DH champs did used to happen, it was held at Aston Hill on the Black DH run not so long ago.  Maybe it'll come back once they get races up and running again.  It certainly would be good to see a chance for us southerners to get points without spending stupid money on travel....

i really had to push myself to get some points this year because i move up to junior next year. this meant that my riding has improved loads. i now have enough points so bring on the last 2 nps rounds !! Grin

this is pretty off topic... but is there an entry list anywhere for the last two rounds. the only reason is i think i have entered them but cannot remember..   Roll Eyes thanks !

It would actually be quite easy for me to race NPS i think, The hardest part about it is getting to all the venues.

That and I don't have a license.

Just to clear this up, I didn't mean to sound like a tw*t, like it may have come accross. I actually meant...

There's 26 juniors entered to Mynydd Du this weekend, Entries have closed now & the entry list was updated yesterday. This means that even if I come last, I would still get 18 Ranking points, Which is enough points to qualify for next year's NPS .... And i'm s**t.

That would be good, I like the idea of the Mids/Welsh and even the British Champs (haven't been able to make any of those this year due to other commitments) but it would be great to have something that would benefit us Southerners a bit more!

You may think you're sh*t now (you're probably way better than I am) but after riding at NPS level since you were Junior you'd be pretty good by the time you reached Senior, so once again the system works because a rider pushes themself and progresses!
