Yes.

The gate's will be closed, and if you're found on the premises outside of the opening hours you will be kicked out, and most likely banned from coming back.

Don't do it.

Not so much that, but the committee running the hill have an agreement within their lease with the FC as to the permited opening hours, and at the moment 9-5 weekends and 6-9tues and thurs is it.  Hopefully it'll increase, but for the moment this is a hell of a lot better than nothing!

Yeah and if u had a bad stack when they aint open/able to give assitance it wouldn't look too good, and then you'd probably be responsible for Aston closing again. Not that hard to play ball really?

Does anyone do any maintenance on it? Ridden there twice, once in 2004 and once recently - Nothing seemed to have changed in all that time.

What does the entry fee get spent on out of curiousity? is there a lease to be paid?

LOL, if you haven't noticed the maintainence being done in between your two trips then I suggest there's something seriously wrong with you.

There's a new bottom section to black run, the compression at the end has changed 3 times in between your visits, there's a new section to DH4/Ultimate Pursuits, the section after the drop on DH4 has been re-worked, there's a new top line to DH3, the berm in between fireroads on DH3 has been re-built, bits of the red run have been re-worked ie. the berm switch backs near the bottom....there are plans for a new top section to the XC, 4X is due a re-build soon...

They pay the lads working the gate, there's a lease and assorted other FC related things to spend money on.

You're getting good value for money mate, the track's getting maintained much more regularly now than it was 6/7 months ago.

Did you ride all the tracks there?  It doesn't sound like it.

Rootes, you been on the speed gain as usual? ha ha! all right of course,

Sir nigel, Track modifications and changes aside (as pointed out by rootes)
If there was no maintenace for four years there would prob be no tracks!! (overgrown, washed away, etc)
Rest assured there is maintenance!!!
