Mega Crashes 2008
« on: July 16, 2008, 17:32:21 PM »

Thought I would start a topic for all those who attended the Mega this year and came back battered and broken!!

I'll start:

Dislocated left shoulder, crashed in the rock section on the qualifying track just before the fireroad / waterfall bit.
Spent a night in hospital after being taken there from the medical centre via helicopter.

6 weeks in a sling but my physio lady is helping loads so hopefully will be back riding ASAP!!

I think you might've been staying in the flat above me.

My brother managed to break his collarbone on his first run on the first day of our holiday.
It was a really stupid fall too, on the last left hand bend of the easy track that runs under the lift from Alpe D'Huez.
