You can sesh the bottom jumps, After that it's goes quite steep upto the fireroad, which is a bitch to get up.

Never tried pushing all the way, but i can imagine it would take a long time, and you'd be knacked by the top.

Just go for a blast around the XC loop, I've heard it's meant to be amazing.

Or, head up to Abercarn on the tuesday.

It's about 40 minutes I reckon to the top, did it 5 times pushing once, and couldn't ride much more after that. However, it is worth going all the way up and sectioning, if you're there long enough, as it will make the first few runs on the uplift better if you know what's coming.

It's a wicked track too.

Best bet would be to ride the freeride track then come down the rest of the xc route,i wouldnt recomend riding the xc route from the start to the freeride on a downhill bike unless you have robot legs,if you follow the track down from the wallride it will take you through a motorcross gate then your on the xc track, once you get past the open section its good fun, blasting past xcers on a big bike is great fun:).

go up the road form the visitor centre follow it up until you see some random metal things on the left and theres a small car park there, you will see the wallride. walk up the fire road/track untill you see a little sign saying freeride park, it point to the right and your there.

go round the corner to abercarn and push up that, its a much shorter push. if you go straight up the hill where the track comes down.

I find that pushing up is faster than the bus.... although hell of a lot more tiring!

I could probably walk up the track faster than the bus but i doubt i would if i had to haul my bike and kit up with me.
