^^ haha, thats beyond belief. I cant imagine getting a gun pointed at you is very nice. is it for real though? How come the photographer isnt getting a "beat down" Anyway, a heads up to everyone. I think the cyclist crackdown has gone national. The programmes that theyve been doing in london for the past few months, where they stop riders for petty reasons to give them a "word" , ticket etc. Theres been a few around Birmingham centre for the past few days, one chased me down and pulled me over saying I went through a red. In honesty it was HIM who wasnt looking though, as I waited for the light to change then barged through the crowd of "jaywalkers" (lol) ringing my bell. To him it probably looked like I went through a red. Anyway, I was just polite and apologetic. Never told him he was wrong, and he just warned me that he couldve given me a ticket. To be honest though, so few people ride bikes in birmingham, I think the young policeman actually felt silly/awkward for stopping me. But it was just part of a "programme". But you get various sorts of coppers, and in london especially there a lot tougher in this situation. So wherever you are, if you see groups of bike po po be careful not to do anything stupid as they have all been instructed to give out tickets. If they see you look back at them, do not try to ride away!
