poped the fort william cherry

went to fort william today and poped the cherry,, what a track, pi**ed down all day but still made for the best day out ive had on a bike. why cant we have more tracks like this around :'(

because their aint that many huge hills? scotland is hogging all the mountains at the moment. there are plenty of shorter decent downhill tracks around, but hardly any of the same world cup standard and length.

Maybe in the next couple of hundred years Two plates may decide to colide and just so happening to form a nice big mountian for us to all ride thats not in scotland  Roll Eyes

Cant wait for the day i go up to fort william for the first time though.

i go in 3 weeks and can't wait Cheesy were doing a bit of a scottish road trip so were doing fort bill inners and ae can't wait

Did you survive doing it on a hardtail ? I would like to go but not before i get my v10.  Roll Eyes

I walked a few of the ubergnardeathrocky bits, and i was _really_ slow, but yes, I survived...

I'm up there in 3 weeks also theres about 6 of us coming up doing a good ole scottish road trip to inners then upto the fort both bikes in tow of course.

i rode it after walking 100 miles 2 get there (west highland way) dads very clever idea but made it all worth while even on a hired bigsh!t no offense and the old start so much more difficult than the new one having walked the whole course at the worlds again last year i do want another go but whistler for the second year in a row instead im not complaining to loudly
