Am i right in thinking it would work for 32t, and if not you could file it down a little until the roller could rotate far enough around to work?

Maybe, but why not just get one that is designed for a 32t? (eg specifies 32-36 or whaever)

because there dont seem to be any in the 2nd hand market at the moment, and i wanted one straight away and didnt want to buy new.
i bought a box guide. that is hopefully all the help i need for a while:)

box guides are fine with 32t i ran one for about 2years and the chain never fell off. they're cheap too compared to most chainguides  Smiley

Ok so the box guide is payed for and should hopefully fit with no problems then:)

One FINAL question.
I run kevlar tyres on my BMX and love them. When they wear out I will definately buy another set. For BMX i saved about 200grams per tyre for my particular model.

For Maxxis XC high rollers i'm finding it really dificult to find the weight for the wire models. Does anyone know the weight you save by buying the folding versions? The weights for them are (560g-1.9/ 575g-2.1). If it is as significant as BMX tyres or more so, i will be convinced.
