i used to love my funn soljam vipers even when i bent the axles and ripped all the pins out bar one, i did feel a bit let down when i caught the 1pin side airing 8foot into 10percent.

im on easton cullys now which are great but weight too much for my liking.

Of course, begs the question: who designed all the pedals originally?  Cheesy

Another vote for dmr's, I've got pretty wide feet and I can't get comfy on any other flat pedal like I can with v12's.

Its all personal preference. Bob has narrow feet but finds the DMRs to narrow still. I have wide feet and don't like DMRs. Try as many as you can before you buy.

Yeah you're right. It's the same thing with any other points of contact with the bike...bars, grips, stems, seats etc etc. Would you say by definition these threads are kind of pointless then?

i like my 50/50's despite what people say (because they probably have the shitty x version) but mine are the xx version and the bearings are still sweet after about 8 months of use, i would get the long pins in them though otherwise they don't grip too well, they are nice and wide, offer a stable platform and look cool !!

It depends how big your feet are. I'm a size 9 and they don't feel too small for me.  Wink

I'd say go for either wellgo mg1's at 34.99 from merlin, or v12 mags at bang on your budget from various places, crc being the obvious one.

I've always rated WellGo pedals highly. Great value. Smiley

Kona Wah Wahs are very good though, if you can afford them. One of the few products The only product Kona seems to have done a decent job with... Wink

I like the look of the Kona Wah Wah's. Nice and thin. Are they nice and wide for big feet?

I need some new pedals for my hardtail. Got Flatboys on the DH bike and they are just excellent, love 'em.

Wellgo's do always make very good value pedals, and those LickitySplit pedals look exactly the same as the Wellgo B38 and probably are.

If I had to chose I'd go Wellgo B27 for lower budget, Wah Wah's for a bit more dosh or Flatboys again for a little bit extra.
