The current ones are all done in-house. I can recall which video it is (I think its the factory tour on MTB-Cut) but the chap doing it talks briefly about it.

That in the team colours would be cool. black = white, silver = black and the flames red ? ect...

Ill look up on "Impact Designs" aswell

Will it not be illegal to have it sprayed the team colours anywhere other than through a contact of santacruz ?
No, but the skulls and roses blend between the black, white and red is actually a sticker. You'd have to be a good artist with experience of doing such things (which you clearly are not 'cos you started a thread asking how to do it on SDH...) and it would cost a bomb to get it to look good. Why not go for something more individual if you must get a custom job - speak to your sprayer about what you want and let them suggest what they can do.

According to this, the skulls are actually powdercoated, through a mask. listen to the audio : http://www.littermag.com/techno/goldmanht/7.htm

However That would be crazily hard and expensive I would think. As mentioned, take the frame to a custom painter, airbrushing artist etc, and ask them for something unique. Talk to them, take sketches, print offs and photos of examples, you'll end up with a one off beauty that is completely individual to you! Wink
