err, no its bala. i guess you're taking the mick but its good that somone could think the weather in wales is comparable to italy.

And the that course certainly ain't dull.

In my opinion I reckon you could do with getting in front of the riders on most of those shots. For me it brings a lot more interest into the photo when you can see the rider's face/eyes. Podium shots could maybe do with some fill flash so faces are brought out of shadow a little more. Some of the whites are a bit blown on Gee and the ancilotti rider when the sun popped out! On the panned shot of Bryceland it looks like you could do with powering up your flash a little to get him sharper (see how the rider in number 7 is a lot sharper [closer also = more flash power], but the background is still blurred). In the last one, the rider looks a bit too static and there's not really any excitement or drama to the pic. He's not jumping the double and is in a pretty neutral position on the bike etc - he's not even cranking hard.

Where you using a cam with manual settings that allows you to play with the settings a bit?
