Surely the bottom always faces down. If I'm not mistaken there is one strip of lights, eg along a spoke, and they turn on & off at the correct time to create the patten. awsome stuff! next night ride I'm on not going to tell anyone i've got them, then in the middle of the forest and BAM! All i need is the "Holidays are coming" music playing and it'll be just like a well known advert!
