Around Les Gets/Morzine mid-july 08
« on: August 04, 2008, 18:24:38 PM »

In a shameless show of vanity I'm gonna post this link up...
Me and some mates out and about around Les Gets/Morzine, you'll probably know the locations etc.

The pics are by Colin Stewart and I thought they were pretty good and should be seen by a few more people...

More of Col's work can be seen on his blog.. http://big-cols.blogspot.com

Are you the guy I was sat with in the Super Morzine lift the other day? When Pleney had fallen over? I was on a Socom...

I recognise the bike!

Don't know what it was, but the lift was knackered & has been a couple of times since. Took nearly 40 minutes to get up in the sweatbox.

Didn't help they only understood 'flat out' and 'emergency stop' on the control panel which made for a bumpy ride. The bubble I was in was thrown around so much it actually smashed into one of the uprights, punching a hole in the side of it Shocked

Yes mate that was me...  I risked the Pleney lift again a bit later in the day and since you told me about the bubble taking a hit I've noticed quite a few of the bubbles have got fibreglass repair jobs! It must happen fairly often!
