why was my thread deleted  ON MY THOUGHT ON SAM HILL MOVING TEAMS ?

It wasn't deleted, it was moved to the right board, then locked after it was pointed out by a forum user that the topic had been done to death in another thread on that board.

Might I suggest, in future, when people wonder where their threads have gone, to click on 'profile' up top, and then 'view last posts of this user' which will show all your own posts. This will often save you asking questions.
