Things are gonna get annoying if the commentator keeps calling jared, yared...

Also if he keeps calling the rhythm section the 'traditional rhythm section'

Really impressed with ACC, just as fast as the mens! Shame about the brit girls whammy though.

The womens track is very different to the mens, so ACC was super quick, but not as fast as the men I don't think.

My worry was more about Shanaze being injured, holding her wrist :S

Yeah looked like she was holding it for a bit. Easing off loads. In the replay it looked as if she slid mostly on her elbow. Well shes got a bit now before her second run so hopefully she will be good to go. Shes probably tough as old boots too.

just watched it on news this morning, top job shanaze! reckon she's got good chance for gold!, start looks quicker than ACC imo, pi$$ed me off that BMX was advertised by the commentators as being for the younger generation - ACC is 30!!!!! they make's it sound as if it's not a "proper" sport when they say $hit like that. rant over. good track though!!

Some more timing info here, looks a bit more detailed than the vague BBC stuff:

Why did team GB only send one representative anyway?  Couldn't we have sent Kelvin
 Batey as well as Philips?

why cant they just put it on during the day like EVERYTHING ELSE

Because during the day for us, is night time for them, and for a lot of other countries.

They dont plan the Olympics around British television viewers...

I think he means like the highlights.

Haha, I noticed that too, it got welll annoying.
Shame read binned it on her first run, but atleast she didn't seem seriously hurt.

Although I'm not a bmxer, i'm a big fan of any two wheeled sports, so seeing this in the olympics is only a good thing.
