Your calendar
« on: August 09, 2008, 22:23:02 PM »

An idea so people can meet up and stuff at big events. Post up what your next big photog events are that you're attending, who knows people might tag along.

I'm hopefully off to UK Bike Park next week for the NPS 4X, anyone else going? Hopefully going to attend some of the BUSAs as well this year.

So what you lot up to?

I'm usually to be found at all the Midlands series rounds, the NPS and anything else based around Shropshire (not including Carlton Bank and Fort William, they're exceptions Wink)

Got a few big gigs coming up at the end of the year, New Found Glory, Meshuggah, Dragon Force, don't know the dates though, forgot haha. All depends on how succesful the e-zine I shoot for is at getting me the passes though.

Whose who?

At NPS 4x at UK BikePark i saw.....

1.someone with a combat jacket and i thnk it was a D3 with rain jacket on.
2.someone with a dark northface jacket, D3 and very nice Nikon 70-200 VR glass.
3.A chap who offered to look after my gear (cheers) when we helped lift an injured rider off the track. he had a samsung? i think.
4.Someone carrying around a remote flash set up, with what looked like a D3 rig again.

How nice would a D3 be.................

edit
1. i think he's the Birdman Photographer.
2. i think he's the english bay photorapher

I was there in a dark waterproof jacket with bits of hair curling out the side from my lid Cheesy. I rode on the sunday (not the 4x just the rest of the park) so wore my knee and shins and my five tens. I was shooting with a standard Nikon D40 18-55mm lens so nothing special. No flashes either.

I'm most probably no. 4 although I think Joolze Dymond was experimenting with remote flash too and she had a D3.
