Oh, I'm not doubting it's going to come out, but I just mean that from the rumour mill, it's not near ready yet.

I'd imagine (given that the SB900 was being used a long time before it was released by select pros) that the D3x, or at least a prototype of a new D3 is out there somewhere. It's supposed to use exactly the same body as the D3, so leaving the D3 badge on there is easy enough. The D90 is a definite.

Now i'm just hoping they come out with some decent AFS primes soon! Supposedly theres a 50mm VR 1.4 soon.

In an effort to avoid such distasteful events this time around, and ensure everybody can enjoy a D90, Nikon now supports the following storage formats...

    * SD
    * CF
    * XD
    * Memory Stick
    * 3.5 inch floppy
    * 5.25 inch floppy
    * 8 inch floppy (in MB-D90b only)
    * CD/DVD (in MB-D90b only)
    * High-speed paper tape to maintain compatibility with Colossus
    * Punch cards
Gotta love the comedians out there..

I cant find the rumours about the D3x, but never mind. Looking at the D90 some of the rumours state that it'll incorporate video? That's a god awful thing to do, people by SLR's for a reason, if they want a multi purpose camera they can use bridge camera's.

Bad, bad, bad move Nikon.
