Decent bike shops near Cwmcarn

Going for a few days next week and can see myself needing a few spares,anyone know any well stocked bike shops around the area?

PS Cycles just down the road.  Going for the uplift?  Just ask any of the locals and they'll send you in the right direction.

were going monday and tuesday, the only days when the uplifts dont run  Roll Eyes

Is it worth it if its quite wet?

Very much so, it's an all weather track, I'm fairly sure I was running faster on my little HT the other week when it was raining than I was when it dried up a bit.

It's a good fun track.

martyn ashfield cycles, its in risca just down the road about 10 mins. havent been there for a while so im not sure what their stocking atm but im sure theyll have the usual needed items  Smiley

Not being funny but Ashfields isnt the best for MTB if roadie`s your thing then id say yes,as above stated PScycles would be your best bet.

See if this one gets deleted,last time i recomended them it was quashed,i dont work for,get anything from them,just ive known Paul for quite a while and he`s a tidy bloke with a good shop.

dont worry about that my man! You can ride that track in any conditions, witnessed by anyone who rode at BUSA's (full on welsh storm), and then at the dragon round (snow..)...

Ashfields and PS are about 2 miles or 5 minutes away, skenes is like a 25 minute drive! probably not the best to reccomend then!
