Meh... it's just cheating... you have an engine.
On a serious note, enjoy it! I've ridden a few crossers and i'm sure people will agree, they are a lot of fun!

ha so you haven't actually got ur bike yet then, well good luck motocross is seriously addictive more mtb riders should try it,

only i wouldn't recommend selling you mtb to fund it, 1 it may not find you enough money to buy it, and your mtb costs nothing to keep, no fuel, oil changes no engine rebuilds, no chains/sprockets, i've still got my 4year old beaten up keewee dh bike and it is cool to wheel out on thursday night after work for riding down the trails no protective gear, just piss pot lid, can't really do that with the mx bike, though its all mx on the weekend,

 what you planning on getting?

i have thought long and hard about it and no longer really enjoy it and theres no tracks near me i have to drvie for about an hour to get to one and even then i still dont enjoy it as much i no its gunna cost me but i know it will be worth it im not just selling my bike im selling other stuff and i am using the money i am earing to fund it as well!

not shure on bike really prob a 125 2 stroke or 250 four stroke 2000 or newer not really to fussed tbh also bin looking at the 250 2 strokes and 450 four strokes so well see i will post up when i know what i got lol

youd be better of starting on a 125 2 stroke. if your not used to mx bikes then even a 125 could quite easily throw you off!

and personally although ktm are rather amazing, theyre not worth buying straight away. especialy brand new as itl depreciate relativly quickly which isnt good.

youd be better of with a kawasaki, yamaha or suzuki.
check out ebay as theyre some blo*dy awesome deals on there.

hope ive helped

Shall we 'draft' out your post for 2010, when you are selling up the MX kit due to money/injury/family etc and want to re-enter the world of DH?
