I'll plead ignorance then, having never been on the Pinkbike forum. Any more than one forum and I forget all my passwords!

The only improvement over the current system, would be for it to be compulsory (within reason) to pm who you have awarded or removed karma from.
Only my thought though.

While i was snooping around the SDH Forum, bored at an early time in the morning.
I came across the forum information near to the bottom of the page, and it has things like,
last post....
latest member....
Then theres a link to "karma stats" And in there you can find the following table;

And here's where you can find it; http://www.southerndownhill.com/forum/index.php?action=viewkarma
If you notice the section of "For what" It states "Explanation was disabled"

Basically the point of this post is that there is an option to give a reason as to what an individual has given to another, Just people choose not too.
So no more comments about "There should be a system where individuals explain, what and or why they gave you 'such and such' karma"  Wink

I can wholeheartedly assure you the option is not there when you give karma, if it was I'm sure it would be used by those who can.

Incidentally it would seem I don't have the authority to view said karma list or even find it where you describe Huh

We disable the ability to give a reason, because it would be required and would go against the original reason people asked for karma.

Permissions issue, which I have fixed, I think, 'cos no-one should have had that link in the first place.

No need for you to apologise, it was my c*ck up. I removed the pic simply because when people can see where/who they start botching at one another Sad
