A Few From The Boneyard...
« on: August 18, 2008, 20:15:22 PM »

Trip to Boneyard Skatepark, Chester, sorted by the Church Stretton Mayfair, due to the council taking away the towns own skatepark, because of vandalism caused by some dirty little scrots from a neighboring town! Sodding chavs...!

Anyway. Never shot at a skatepark before, and I was surprised at how different it was to shooting mountainbikes.
If I recall, in the Sebas Romero topic I assumed ( Wink), that shooting bmx wouldn't be as challenging as MTB, and someone disagreed.
Well I certainly do now too! Found it really challenging to get good angles on stuff etc.
Results...

1. Over edited a bit I think..

2.

3.

4.

C+C please!

Cheers Ben.

Sarcasm is the key!

And the shots are good, but they arent very BMX.
BMX mags have a very particular style of photo, and those are just MTB stylee photos, but with a BMXer in the way.

Good photos but i hope that makes sense ^

Are all Pro 2s made badly or is it just me?
I am thoroughly annoyed by the whole thing.

Is that true?  Seems strange but i suppose I can see how it might work.

I really like the photos, the shadows in 1 and 3 are awesome.

edit, that wasn't meant to sound like a go if it comes across like that tim, just seems wierd that bmx and mtb would be different if you get what i mean.

Ah fair enough I see where you're coming from actually. I guess after I've been looking/playing with the pic for a bit it seems a lot different to the original, but looking at it now it doesn't seem overdone. If you get me? haha.

And yea i kinda understand what you mean about the BMX style. Or lack of  Wink
