You'll have to forgive me if I'm repeating something thats already been said as I havnt read through all the pages of this topic. But as far as I see it, the main (serious) complaint with Karma was that people thought if they had negative karma, their reputation as a seller would be damaged. So how about as a replacement - I've seen on other forums something called "itrader". Works on the same principle as ebay feedback and displayed the same as karma (+1/-1 fashion) That way it won't concern you at all unless you sell something, and when you do it'll give you a reason to provide a top notch service.

I think the removal of post count is too far. Post count is good to see how reliable a person is on the forum for tech info.
not always but i see where you're coming from, as i'm more likely to trust someone with 2000 posts than someone with 0 posts when buying something as the person with 2000 is more easily trackable if they do run off with your money.

bloody hell, its a mtb forum with a classified section, not a classified forum. all this talk of changing the classified will get it removed, which i don't want so please don't keep on about it.
