As said before; V10  Smiley Also a personal favorite.

Does anyone know what the most travel there is on a bike ?  I mean like 12 inch or something  Tongue

karpiel apocalypse had 13" and two rear shocks

Is that the one Bender used to use?

Longest travel I've ever heard of is Karpiel Apocalypse. (I wouldn't say the Brooklyn Rubber Duck counted as it was a one-off and used moto shocks).

Wasn't there an Astrix with 14" a while back?

There's a Marin DH bike with between 6 and 10" of travel.  They go cheap on ebay from time to time.

Here's one for sale $350.

V10 gets my vote simply becuase i have owned an 06/08 and ridden an 04 and they are all awsome. i didn't like my mates tank zeus that much as it was quite high (but i lokk for race bikes so the tank may be what your after)
