they look soo nice, im really interested in one of these but cant find any frame specs anywhere like rear axle size 135 x 12? bb size ect

Frames rrp is £1900 i believe, thats what its going for from most places. The commencal website has all the frame specs on it, but i know it has an 83mm bb, iscg 05 tabs and 150x12 rear axle. It looks really good in green too.

I think that the colour of the DH bike is rank! such a weird green, give an 08 anyday what's the difference between the frames 08 and 09 frames?

Your joking, it looks wicked in the flesh!! I must admit photos dont do it justice. The 09 is completely different to the 08. More travel, different shock position, grips even more, lighter, more standover height (even though it looks less!), 83m bb.

oh yeah, come to think of it they went over it in Dirt a couple of issues ago, what are the advantages of an 83mm bb? Apart from the fact most cranks that fit will cost you a bomb load so they increase the price of the full build Roll Eyes but i still wouldn't say no to any of their bikes.

I guess it just gives you a wider base for more stability. It does limited you to about 4 different cranks. Saint, Diabulous, Atlas etc etc.

i have never ridden a commie, so its a gamble, but I have nevre heard anything but great things about them!

allows you to have a wider pivot and back end in general for added stiffness
