Considering going for one of the stan's kits, as I'm sick to the back teeth of getting punctures on my lightweight tyres, but dont want to go back to heavy high rollers.

I've got Continental Mountain King Protection tyres, and have been trying to find out if these are compatible with tubeless kits, and how hard to fit.

I've read mixed reviews.  What I want to know is - how easily does the Stans kit work with singletrack rims, and Continental tyres, and how messy is the fit to kit? Or is it pretty straightforward?

I run stans no-tubes with Sun Singletrack 26" rims and a variety of tires:

Maxxis Minion single ply 42a 2.35"
Maxxis High Roller single ply 60a 2.35"
Maxxis High Roller single ply 60a 2.5"
Syncros BHT Kevlar single ply 2.5"
Specialized Fast Trak LK 2 bliss 2.0"

the setup has worked fine with all these tires....

its a little fiddly when pumping up, until you realise you want washing up liquid with literally a spit of water, and then most tires inflate fine...

it runs great with most single ply tires around 40-45psi, and i have not had any problems despite lots of freeride, dirt jumping ( a good test of tire wrenching) and downhills

its a very big difference to running inner tube in terms of grip (even at 40psi, due to no inner tube = much lower friction during tire deformation), lack of pinch flats and also weight reduction
