eastern bikes

i was just looking around for a frame and saw the eastern slash 7. just wondering if any of you know anything about it.

they have started making MTBs about a year ago.
They look pretty cool,

thats the slash 7,

My only opinion on it is that eastern arent known for suspension design, quite the opposite!
So i can imagine it having flaws!

its basically an Ellsworth ISIS rear swingarm (as used on the Joker,etc.) mated to Eastern's own front end

should work well, and be reasonably light, and tough

i saw one of their hardtails built up in winterberg it looked lovely ! Really wouldnt mind one of their Dj hardtails !

The Night Train is ridiculos value!


80mm 318s,
Full Eastern parts  (stem etc.) which isnt bad at all!

All for $1190! Which is about £650!
I want one now!
Shame i cant find anywhere in england stocking them, but in theory anywhere that can get eastern, can get eastern 26?

I was imagining more in the £800s, but still a wicked bike!

and has a really cool logo on the headtube, the logo is cut out of the headtube! saves weight, and looks wicked!

yeh, hopefully where i got my easton bmx, they could hopefully order me one in of the frames, that h/t is a beast though!
