Oh and I'm sure Scarborough won't want to host such an event again.  What with all the abuse the English Heritage guys got, the mess that was made by allowing us on the grass by the first hairpin, and the mess that the main (grass, now mud) spectator strip must've been once everyone cleared off.... I'd like to see the results, but I presume Chris is still clearing it all up!
Wrong, the deputy mayor and all the local business,s want us back next year.We were complimented in the local rag i quote" what a great advert for the youth of today" Wink

Chris will put them up on www.nakedracing.com I presume.  I'm sure they'll be there in a day or two.

Firstly sorry for the double quote, i dont know what im doin to just use one part of the quote.

Mainly, its awesome that the Mayor etc backed the event and want us back, i think if it's run again nevxt year though bring it a few weeks earlier into summer time? May be a little more hope for weather, although then the night ridin wouldnt be so dark i guess..... has it's pros and cons?

Well, kinda.  No times, just positions & BCF points.  Nice to see the latter confirmed though Grin

Yer I noticed that, the results really are the bare minimum ! And i doubt they will do any overall as it will be highly unfair seeing half the people went down in the dark ahh!

Well it's standard, all the BCF show is who got what points, you never get times on that site.  Once Chris puts up the full results it's easy enough to convert them to overall in excel etc if you want to, but as you say it's not exactly a level field so why would you want to? Smiley

Haha! There's me in last place! Grin I'm still really sore from crashing in seeding, but moreso from not being able to make up my time with a race run! Sad Still, got some goot points regardless!

think it was a good day, and the course was great in the light, however the combination of higher speed (than edinburgh) and lack of consistent lighting seemed to cause more accidents.  If the lighting was more consistent then i think it would have been better.  I guess the main problem was the rain though, as it made it proper hard to see properly.

I agree that more info for the riders standing in the cold at the top would have been very much appreciated!

I'll still be going to next years race anyway though as the events are great fun Smiley
