Identitis are nice but look a bit old and burly, and overdesigned with massive gussets etc, i'd prefer a cleaner look or some nicely formed tubing to be honest.
And i know the curtis' are quality handbuilt masterpieces (and i do appreciate a nice bit of workmanship on things, being an engineer) just like the Leeson trials bikes, but it seems a lot of novelty options are there too, like the frame number and end cap stamps etc. It just sesems there are other options which i know i wouldnt break and could do just the job. I'm a bit of a keeper when it comes to bike so the personalised bits wouldnt be wasted when i flog it to some kid a year down the line because i know i wouldnt do that, so maybe its something to consider if nothing else pops up.
And i ride chicky a fair bit, although not lately as my bikes out of action at the moment.
What about things like Norcos etc, they got anything in the pipeline? 'commencals and yetis didnt appeal much to me, the commencal has some fugly looking headtube on it, and anything adjustable on a frame screams unreliable at me.

spank puff yeti DJ flow myth commencal absolute 4x ellsworth specialist santacruz charmelon...... giant stp - is fairly heavy though compared to the rest
pritty much a good 4x frame will have a short rear end, fairly long top tube (21.5-23inch), the head angle will genrally be around 68-70 deg, and quite a big stand over with a low b/b, also i would a aluminium frame as will be lighter stiffer and you'll genrally will be faster on a Alli frame then steel.
but if you do want a steel frame would say to go for a dialled holeshot, which is one of the only steel frames actually designed to be a 4x frame, other wise check out Curtis bikes and charge bikes (the blender is they're 4x frame)
but out of my list i would recommend the flow myth, one of the lightest frames you can buy and pritty cheap under £300 if i remember correctly, but also have a look at the rest, (only frames i would race the nps on) (apart from my foes predator) they all seem to be quite light, good geometry, pritty stiff, nice looking and all have a good build quality. I wouldn't really go for a identity bike like the krisis as its as common as mud and not the lightest, nicest frame you could get for the money.
