Ok so what is up with some of the mods on here? what a joke! I don't often feel the need to complain but........ a mate of mine got a pm recently about a frame he had advertised on the main build (Coiler), the pm said "don't multi post and as the site was called southern DOWNHILL [dho] didn’t think he should be trying to sell a coiler there and suggested trying stw or fleabay". I mean ffs, its a 6" AM / freeride frame that a) was originally purchased of SDH, b) is not xc and c) thats what that section of the forum is for. So if the forum is only for 6" + DH why the heck are there sections allowing for the sale of street, DJ, bmx, misc cr@p, laptops, peoples grans, cars, mobiles and sub 6" bikes. I would have thought 6" - 8" bikes would have been exactly what the forum caters for... and his ad would be just about the last that should be shoved on ebay or an xc whippet, weight weenies forum! So to anyone who has a street, DJ, bmx or less than 8" travel.......... your not welcome on here. all in jest of course pmsl ah feck me I just saw some 120mm forks for sale, and a bmx, doh... and a laptop.... sacrilege

that is all fine, and that being the case lets cull all the rubbish of xc, dj, street, mibile, laptops, cars, pitbikes etc....... oh and I beielve he was not multi posting in different sections, just putting a new ad on when his hit page 5 and would never be seen again! I am just poit out the one rule for one lot and one for the other, it is either acceptable to sell it on here or not, if not then every other none 8" DH kit should go as well

as far as im concerned you can sell any bike on here, like you said, as people sell roadies, bmx's, street, dirt, HT's, full sus, etc. There is no way the type of bike was the problem, he must have done something else wrong. Either that or someones pissing around on carls account.

On the topic of duplicate posts, i thought some of the MODs might like to see this: (each one of these adverts are selling exactly the same thing, the only difference is the text....) Post 1: http://www.southerndownhill.com/forum/index.php/topic,163618.0.html(9th July) Post 2: http://www.southerndownhill.com/forum/index.php/topic,164272.0.html(15th July) Ever so sorry about that i was not aware. although i did add the details of what shock was on it which i thought might be useful information. thanks for the bump though NOW SELLING FOR 300 PLUS POSTAGE (including seat post/clamp) Post 3: http://www.southerndownhill.com/forum/index.php/topic,165657.0.html(28th July) Post 4:http://www.southerndownhill.com/forum/index.php/topic,166710.0.html(7th August) Post 5: http://www.southerndownhill.com/forum/index.php/topic,167981.0.html(19th August) Post 6:http://www.southerndownhill.com/forum/index.php/topic,168686.0.html(26th August) Post 7: http://www.southerndownhill.com/forum/index.php/topic,168851.0.html(today, 28th August) Self explanatory really. (taken from the "deleting duplicate posts" thread.) By any chance is that refering to your mate's "duplicate posts"? If so I can see EXACTLY why [dho] is annoyed! jesus there is what, 7 topics selling the same thing all made within 2 months!!! Alexxxx
